RK Properties financial monitoring and reporting functions are conducted by the accounting department. The highly qualified staff has extensive accounting, financial management and computer experience in real estate rehabilitation, development, syndication, and property management.




Thang Pham Controller
Thang Pham

Mr. Pham joined the company as the Controller in 2007 and has over 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Property Accounting in both Multifamily and Commercial real estate. Mr. Pham is responsible for all the daily financial operation of the company including cash management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting in accordance with GAAP and organizational policies and strategies. Having the unique background in IT as former Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) along with his lead-by-example approach, Mr. Pham has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage the comprehensive property management software system and lead the well-trained staff in the Accounting Department. Prior to joining RK Properties, Mr. Pham helped form a property management company as a Controller in charge of accounting, IT and payroll; and worked as an Accounting Manager at a reputable global real estate investment company. Mr. Pham graduated from UC, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with emphasis in Economics.




Maria Monroy Assistant Controller
Maria Monroy

Maria came on board RK Properties in May 2013; with the investor relations department before transferring to accounting shortly after, that same year. Maria’s exceptional understanding of accounting principal and practice along with her strong work ethics have moved her up from being an A/R clerk to A/P clerk to currently Assistant Controller. Maria graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Business Management Economics and a concentration in accounting. She has prior experience working in a real-estate brokerage firm, as well as working as a general accountant for a homeowner’s association management company.




Bridgette Chi Accounting Manager
Bridgette Chi

Ms. Chi joined RK Properties in 2008 as a staff accountant and was promoted to Accounting Manager after demonstrating her extensive knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail and dedication. She assists the Controller and Assistant Controller in leading the accounting team. Ms. Chi maintains a high level of confidentiality as she oversees all accounting functions for the owner’s personal and Corporate accounts and works closely with every department. Ms. Chi graduated California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Prior to joining RK Properties, she was a senior property accountant at a commercial real estate company and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.




Alexandra Mena Staff Accountant
Alexandra Mena

Alexandra Mena joined RK Properties in June 2017 as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and thenceforth became Staff Accountant in January 2020. Mrs. Mena graduated from Long Beach City College with two Associates of Arts degree, Accounting and General Business. She is currently attending California State University, Long Beach to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree. As a dedicated and self-motivated individual, Mrs. Mena has been meeting accounting needs for property management companies since the start of her accounting career. She has also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at a real estate company. As Staff Accountant at RK Properties, her duties include, assisting the Controller and Assistant Controller, administering Yardi, bank reconciliations, processing investor documents, and assisting with monthly investor distributions.




Crystal Ramos Accounts Receivable
Crystal Ramos

Crystal Ramos has been with RK Properties since January 2020. She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to working at RK Properties, she worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist II at a property management company. She performs day-to-day financial transactions including managing all deposits, researching and resolving payment discrepancies, reviewing move outs, writing off accounts to collection agencies, and analyzing tenant ledgers.




Jennifer Arzola Accounts Payables
Jennifer Arzola

Jennifer Arzola joined RK Properties in September 2020 as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Ms. Arzola is currently attending Long Beach City College to be able to transfer to a University to pursue her bachelor’s Degree. She has also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at a real estate company. As an Accounts Payable, her duties include, but are not limited to, process payments on a daily basis to vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures, perform any data entry associated with accounts payable, review and reconcile all invoice discrepancies, address and respond to any vendor inquiries, Yardi invoice reimbursements: LRS, Full services, Call automation, SEO etc. , review and approve invoices sent over to queue by on-site managers, assist with day-to-day needs from vendors/ on-site managers.
