RK Properties financial monitoring and reporting functions are conducted by the accounting department. The highly qualified staff has extensive accounting, financial management and computer experience in real estate rehabilitation, development, syndication, and property management.

Julianti Chandra Controller

Julianti Chandra joined RK Properties in July 2020 as a Controller with 20+ years of experience in the property management industry. Prior to joining RK Properties, Julianti held previous Accounting Manager role at Sage Apartment Communities Inc. in Irvine, CA from 2016-2020 and Senior Accountant at Steadfast Companies also in Irvine, CA from 2000-2016. Throughout her 20+ years of career in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting and planning, Julianti has established a reputation for leading recognizable teams and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high growth. For her recent achievement, she was awarded the “Best Boss” award at Sage Apartment Communities in December 2019. Julianti holds a BS in Finance with minor in Accounting from Oklahoma State University 1998.

Alexandra Mena Staff Accountant
Alexandra Mena

Alexandra Mena joined RK Properties in June 2017 as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and became Staff Accountant in January 2020. Mrs. Mena graduated from Long Beach City College with two Associates of Arts, Accounting and General Business. She is currently attending California State University, Long Beach to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She has also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at a real estate company. As a Staff Accountant, her duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Controller and Assistant Controller, administering Yardi, processing investor documents and assisting with monthly investor/owner distributions.

Crystal Ramos Accounts Receivable
Crystal Ramos

Crystal Ramos joined RK Properties in January 2020. She graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to working at RK Properties, she worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist II at a property management company. Her duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing move outs, managing deposits, writing off accounts to collection agencies, and analyzing tenant ledgers.

Maria Monroy Assistant Controller

Maria came on board RK Properties in May 2013; with the investor relations department before transferring to accounting shortly after, that same year. Maria’s exceptional understanding of accounting principal and practice along with her strong work ethics have moved her up from being an A/R clerk to A/P clerk to currently Assistant Controller. Maria graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Business Management Economics and a concentration in accounting. She has prior experience working in a real-estate brokerage firm, as well as working as a general accountant for a homeowner’s association management company.

Jennifer Arzola Accounts Payables

Jennifer Arzola joined RK Properties in September 2020 as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Ms. Arzola is currently attending Long Beach City College to be able to transfer to a University to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree. She has also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at a real estate company. As an Accounts Payable, her duties include, but are not limited to, process payments on a daily basis to vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures, perform any data entry associated with accounts payable, review and reconcile all invoice discrepancies, address and respond to any vendor inquiries, Yardi invoice reimbursements: LRS, Full services, Call automation, SEO etc. , review and approve invoices sent over to queue by on-site managers, assist with day-to-day needs from vendors/ on-site managers.
